IRON HORSE BIKE REPLACEMENT PARTS HOW TO
Sorry to see another motorcycle company bite the dust, maybe it’s time to get back to what it’s really all about, big motors, big power, long, low, and lean, no frills, just legal enough to be on the road, after all, if you wanted comfort, put 2 wheels on your Lazy Boy, the sad part is that 70 percent of the new age bikers, don’t even know how to service them, let alone fix them. What can I say, been building my own, from 1968, never bought a complete bike, never bought a stock Harley, always built from frame and motor cases up, learned alot, the custom chopper craze, well as with most, it came and went, but the old guys, always built on a budget anyway, never was interested in a stock Harley anyway, not enought power, and never liked rear shocks, remember it’s a motorcycle and not a car. I hope this information has been helpful and entertaining LOL. I had so much faith in their product, I purchased a 2007 Bandera from IHOT the day before AIH filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. They are a great group of people, and they definately have their finger on the American MC Pulse. AIH should be coming out soon with some NEW models and I am confident the company is here to stay.

Since this is Texas, where the term “haggle” was perfected, you could have purchased many items at a70% discount.ĪIH was purchased by a gentleman with vision, intelligence and a great sense of humor. You could actually leave with a “rolling chasis” of several AIH models, including but not limited to 2006 Slammers, along with multitudes of various parts.

The key word is “Liquidation”…….!!!!!!!!Īmerican IronHorse opened their warehouse gates to the general public and gave them 3 days to buy anything in the warehouse at 50% to 60% off “COST” price. Once again the MC public has been attacked by someone “perceiving” what someone else “perceives” regarding yet someone else’s “opinion” which makes them ALL wrong. Hope the bike industry can recover and get a solid footing again. There are always people that talk shit and say “I could do better than that’ or “If I were to do it my way”, but yet they are the ones that can’t do shit when it comes to working on bikes in any way, shape or form. Am I one of those guys that can do that? Honestly, no–but maybe one day I will have the courage to tackle a project like that (or something similar) and see how it turns out good or bad. It is times like that where you have to be creative with little to no budget and that is when innovation and true creativity come about. I think that it would be cool if someone were to get something like a ten year old sportster and get a paughco frame and just do something with that in his/her garage and just work on it when he/she could afford it. I’ve read on the internet and in print that they’re predicting that things will go full-circle and guys will be buying H-D’s (like Rodent was saying) and customizing them on their own in their garages after work and on the weekends as it was years and years ago before the “craze” of the custom choppers, from folks like West Coast Choppers,OCC, etc…the bikes were good looking, but they were out of the reach of the average guy/gal. This isn’t good, Kim Suter, American Iron Horse–who will be next? I hope that things start turning around soon. On Friday, September 12 at 9 AM, the sale will open to the general public, and everyone will have a chance to buy what they need.

The inventory is so large that Liquid Asset Partners is giving the industry a few days to place orders before opening the sale to the public from September 12 through September 14. Dealers and distributors wishing to make purchases should contact Liquid Asset Partners at (616) 719-5917 or they can view the $10 Million+ inventory at. The liquidation is handled by Liquid Asset Partners LLC. This huge liquidation of excess motorcycle parts for V-Twins and choppers will be held at American Ironhorse Motorcycle’s factory, 4600 Blue Mound Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76106, to sell off excess parts not needed for new production.
